Our Mission
GiveBack provides college scholarships and mentoring to students who have faced economic hardship and other adversities. Our goal is to break the cycle for at-risk youth by making education the common denominator. Every GiveBack scholar receives a full scholarship that covers college tuition, fees, room and board and as a result lifts the heavy financial burden and overwhelming debt associated with higher education.
The Give Back Difference
Give Back’s successful program includes:
- Identifying and selecting academically motivated, financially disadvantaged ninth graders
- Facilitating relationships with trained adult mentors who help students become college ready
- Hosting events and sharing resources to navigate the complexities of
college preparation - Helping students apply to our partner colleges or universities
- Providing pre-funded scholarships to cover tuition, fees, room and board
- The opportunity for scholars to graduate from college debt-free
- Inspiring students to give back in a meaningful way when they are able
